Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - Adults

We offer multiple BJJ classes for adults of all levels (ages 13 and up). Whether you're interested in Jiu Jitsu for self-defense, competition, or simply to get a workout, you'll experience top-notch training at HOA. Classes usually consist of a 15 minute warm-up, 30 minute technique instruction, and 15 minute live roll. Gi is required for Tuesday and Thursday classes.

Why learn BJJ?

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of the most effective martial arts you can learn for self-defense. BJJ is designed to empower a physically smaller or weaker individual with an effective method of defending against a larger and stronger attacker. All Jiu Jitsu students learn varying techniques like immobilizations, escapes, and multiple types of submissions in order to defend themselves in real-life or competition scenarios.
